Commissioner Chen said that when planning the exhibition hall, we realized that the global environment is being accelerated and the world's energy resources are gradually depleting. The green building is bound to be the trend of the future. In a proud tone, Commissioner Chen told us that the exhibition hall is Taiwan's first green building landmark exhibition hall and the first venue in Taiwan to meet the international standards for greenhouse gas verification. To prevent the West drying, energy saving, water conservation, green principles to design, hoping to save the future in the overall operation of the cost. There are many more energy-efficient designs in our building, such as: Our façades use insulated glazing, utilizing the sun's natural light and less power to save energy. We are also planting flowers around, in addition to greening, but also to reduce the temperature inside the building. In addition, we also have the rainwater recycling on the top floor of the external wall, the tap water reclaimed and the recovered water used to flush toilet toilets. Save a lot of utilities a year! It is hoped that the environmental characteristics will be utilized to coordinate the impact on the surrounding environment and create a healthy indoor environment quality. Green energy saving measures, green building materials and green construction technologies will be combined with green initiatives. After the construction is completed, it set a good example for public works. In the end, Commissioner Chen thinks that the cost of construction and operation management of green buildings is higher. However, we must take a longer-term perspective. Taking the transmission of a sustainable concept, green buildings will save the earth's assets that can not be calculated with money.

After an afternoon visit, we think that the environment outside the museum is full of green space and the energy-saving facilities can be seen everywhere in the spaciousness of the museum. The most prominent feature of the exhibition hall is that it operates from a green point of view and becomes the best green building public works model. Although green building has not yet become popular in Taiwan, Nangang Exhibition Hall is the first exhibition hall of green building signs to be started by government departments. In the future, we hope that not only the government public works but also private works will be able to join green buildings consideration.
