Eco-city

From the successful cases of ecological cities in various countries, it can be
found that before these cities were established as ecological cities, they found some
problems in their own cities and wanted to make a change: for example, facing the
challenges of global climate change, the disorder of transport systems, and the
problem of waste. inadequate green areas, deteriorating air, and gradual disappearance
of biological habitats. We have begun to actively plan the construction of eco-cities in
response to problems. The purpose is to protect the environment, prevent pollution,
restore a beautiful natural environment and focus on the integration of human and
ecological nature. These successful development experiences have become examples
of sustainable ecological cities.

In addition, with the successful experiences of these eco-cities, we can summarize
several reasons for success: 1. The government must propose relevant ecological vision
and ecological construction policies. 2. The government must prioritize and propose a set
of solutions for problems that can be continuously improved. 3. Residents must have a
strong sense of environmental protection and fully understand the importance of
environmental protection. 4. Residents cooperate with the government's policies.
Therefore, we believe that a successful eco-city must have a forward-looking, positive, and wise eco-city policy, and its successful development experience is worth our research and
reference. Of course, each city's history, culture, climate, terrain, and background
conditions are different. It is not always possible to fully adopt the development
experience of Europe and the United States, but it is expected that one day, the cities in
Taiwan can also use the experience of a successful eco-city and become a world models.
