Today, our research team, led by the teacher, came to Da-ai Technology, Neihu Environmental Protection Station for a half-day visit and experience. First of all, we visited the environmental protection station, and Mrs. Liu Yumei introduced the environment and operating procedures of the environmental protection station. After the waste is sent to the Environmental Protection Station, environmental volunteers will handle it. In particular, the recovered bottles will be sorted and sorted by layers. Finally, these bottles will be sent to science and technology factories to make various textile products. Next, we started to visit Da Ai Technology, which was briefed by manager Yu Shaoming on the origin, business philosophy and various eco-friendly products of the company. Then we personally visited our in-house R & D department and eco-friendly products. At the end of the visit, Mr. Yu said that we uphold the spirit and philosophy of Tzu Chi to develop products, and hope to maximize corporate responsibility, and can greatly reduce the damage to the environment.

Founded in 2008, Da-ai Technology Company is the first environmental protection public welfare enterprise in Taiwan, which are devoted to developing environmental technology and recycling PET bottles with the concept of "coexistence with the earth." Tzu Chi Green volunteers all cherish the earth, carefully sort and recycle PET bottles, and also implement the environmental protection concept of saving and reducing carbon. Volunteers hope to spread eco-friendly products to every corner of the world and take care of disadvantaged groups. At present, Tzu Chi has about 8,626 green recycling points in Taiwan. About 200 000 regular green volunteers work regularly and irregularly to recycle nearly 2,000 tonnes of PET bottles every year. Till now, 513,233,907 PET bottles have been recycled (Until the end of August 2016 only).

Da-ai Technology has launched more than 100 kinds of environmental protection products such as yarn, fabric, clothing and textiles and has made it into an environmentally friendly recycled product in people's daily life. Environmental Processes are certified by the Control Union Global Recycle Standard (CU GRS) of the Peterson AG and the Control Consortium of the Netherlands. In addition, Eco-friendly recycled polyester fiber is also certified by the EPA's "Green Seal". One hundred percent of green / gray eco-friendly blankets made of recycled fibers are also "double-certified by the Rhine Group of Germany and the EPD."

This visit let us understand the reason for the establishment of Da-ai Technology and also understand that the raw materials for the production of textile products are actually the special bottles for resource recovery. We also visited R & D department and actually saw R & D instruments and production process. This tour of rich environmental study tour let us love and admiration for the technology. Although many environmental volunteers and entrepreneurs have contributed a bit to this land, earth and environment. However, in the future, we hope that more people will join the ranks of energy conservation and carbon reduction. We can reduce, recycle or even not use and do our utmost to contribute to the global warming.
